The concealed mount with the swing function makes it tricky. We got the unlacquered brass, and it’s gorgeous, but it’s heavy - so that likely played a role in it easily falling off too. I wiped a little brass ager on it to give it patina. Really pretty! Due to the quality and the look, I would buy it again even though i had trouble getting it just right. For our powder room, I’m considering buying the other Charlie on this site (looks exactly the same but functions differently/ not a swing arm).
The tissue holder is of excellent quality and design. Although production, and hence, its arrival were delayed, the company was extremely responsive in keeping me apprised of the order status. Would order other products without reservation.
