Edgar Berebi was founded in 1990 out of necessity by the fine jewelry and home décor designer Edgar Berebi. When he was refurbishing his New England cottage, he was unable to find the decorative hardware that would suit his vision and thus decided to create his own decorative hardware. In 2003 he launched his first collection, and it became an overnight sensation. At first glance his items appeared to be jewelry pieces, each intricately sculpted with motifs and engraved with semi-precious stones, mirroring rococo and French classicism designs. Edgar Berebi cabinet knobs are hand crafted out of pewter by talented artisans at the peak of their craft, each meticulously sculpted and engraved with motifs found in nature, marine life, and European architecture. This picture is not even close to how beautiful they are. The sparkle is outstanding. Very happy customer. I never leave reviews, but this pretty little thing deserves to be seen. Sorry about the pictures, but I tried. You still can not see the stones like in person.
