Patio Deadbolt Function- Patio deadbolt operates by Thumbturn from one side only - NO KEYED CYLINDER. (One Sided - meant to be used on doors that do NOT have a hole drilled all the way through them)

Single Deadbolt Function- Single cylinder deadbolt operates with a key on the exterior and a thumbturn on the interior (For use on exterior doors where additional security is needed, pair with a keyed entry for two points of locking)

Double Deadbolt Function- Double cylinder deadbolt operates with a key on the exterior and interior (For use on exterior doors with glass panes or gates where additional security is needed)

    1. Q: Does the deadbolt have to be ordered either left or right handed? If so, does it matter if, from the outside, the hinges are on the left but the door swings out instead of in as in your example.
