"They are beautiful now that they are on, but it took about 12 hours to complete 19 door knobs. Our house was built in 1979 and the door knob holes/latch hole were all smaller. We had to buy an electric file and file down all the holes on each door. It was exhausting and frustrating with each one being a little different. These without the back plate seemed to be a little easier, but still presented some problems. A few of the knobs have difficultly lining up with the frames to close correctly, but after about a week, things have leveled out and they work well. The finished project really is worth it, but you have it be ready for some hard (and messy!) work to get there."
