The knob is great, as are the pulls I bought with it. Learned the hard way that brushed nickel is different from satin nickel but the two are far enough apart in the bathroom so as to be unnoticeable. However: while this knob does lie flat against your door or cupboard or whatever, it is an illusion. Inside the knob, where the screw goes, it is deeply indented and unless your door is relatively thin, the screw that accompanies the knob is not long enough and you will be making a trip to the hardware store. And then, if your door is somewhat thick, the available screws are either too long or too short which you won't know about until you try (again) to put on the knob. So you will need to use the longest screw with a couple of washers on the inside of the door because the screw will be TOO long (but the next size is too short for a somewhat thick door). Eventually you will end up with a nice looking knob, but it would be nice if MyKnobs.com would include several different screws since not all doors are equal. And maybe a couple of washers, too.
I wanted to replace the wooden knobs that came with my butcher block kitchen island and these knobs are excellent and exactly what I wanted. Thank you.
