Robe Hooks, & Escutcheons - 1 1/4" Rectangle Knob Backplate in Antique English Matte - Alno Hardware
While browsing British magazines, I noticed many kitchen cabinets had back plates. Such a smart way to protect the area most used! I ordered a couple of these as a test, and we loved them! I have quickly ordered 20 more. They cover up the area underneath the knob that is worn. I do not need to touch up that area anymore. I also love that they come in 3 sizes. I cut out a template of each size to be able to determine which size would work. We chose the medium size. Great quality. I wish I had ordered these when I first installed my kitchen, but better late than never!

Old World - Bent Rectangle Single Hole Backplate in Antique English - RK International
This backplate allowed me to cover up 2 holes from an old handle that had broken off. Combined this with the Small Indian Drum knob for a rich new look.
