Works well compared to prior floor door stop that broke with door swinging open. Instructions did not come with, but were easily found online on maker's website. Be aware there is a middle post underneath that does need some room to sink into the floor. Very happy
This thing is heavy duty and works as expected. I have an 86" tall French patio outswing door and it's perfect for my application. The only thing is, no installation instructions what so ever. I figured it out, but for anyone who needs help....Drill 5/8" mason bit about 2 1/4 deep. Then install the anchor WITHOUT the sleep into the stopper so that it sits in there pretty deep. Then place the stopper and anchor in the hole to mark the 3 plastic anchor holes. Remove stopper and then drill 1/4 mason bit for the 3 holes. Hammer in the plastic anchors to the 1/4 holes. Install the anchor into stopper WITH the sleeve and slots towards the wide end of anchor. Place in hole and hand tighten until the 3 holes are lined up properly and install 3 metal screws into plastic anchors.
I use the industrial solid brass doorstop to hold my bar flip ( the pass thru area of an old bar). The quality is 100% perfect, the functionality couldn't be better, It adorns my bar like a piece of art.
