I painted our bathroom vanity and replaced the old hardware. I had an extra hole that needed covering so these backplates did the job. They look beautiful. I received them just a few days after ordering. I would order from this company again. Thanks so much!
While browsing British magazines, I noticed many kitchen cabinets had back plates. Such a smart way to protect the area most used! I ordered a couple of these as a test, and we loved them! I have quickly ordered 20 more. They cover up the area underneath the knob that is worn. I do not need to touch up that area anymore. I also love that they come in 3 sizes. I cut out a template of each size to be able to determine which size would work. We chose the medium size. Great quality. I wish I had ordered these when I first installed my kitchen, but better late than never!
When placing cupboard knobs in the past, I was concerned with where the hole was drilled, but wasn't concerned with the angle of placement. Because these knobs need to be oriented either vertically or horizontally, there is a need to have them at the correct 90 degree angle. It took two of us to get the placement correct...one to"eyeball" it, and hold the knob in the right place, and one to turn the screwdriver/drill. I would probably have chosen them anyway, knowing this, because they look so good and the function is great. But I wanted buyers to know this ahead of time. It's not something I considered when making my purchase.
