    100%

My home is a Victorian from the 1880s. I needed to replace an internal door knob set. Modern sets don?t work in these vintage doors, so I was very glad to find this one. Installation was a breeze - less than 10 minutes (and I?m not handy). The knob looks and works great, although I?ll have to refinish the door next spring because the replacement plate is a different size and shape than what was there before. Always something to do in these older homes! Would DEFINITELY recommend- and I?m planning on buying more to update the hardware on some other doors.

I reviewed countless knobs in search for just the right ones. I was facinated with this style, and despite looking at others I liked, I kept coming back to this one (Waldorf knob, Mission plate, Oil rubbed bronze with the keyhole). I looked at several of these, but the simplicity of the Mission plate just appealed to me more than the others. It was tempting to go with the popular lever type door handle. They are considerbly cheaper and have some practical applications (i.e. opening a door with full hands) However, I am very pleased with my decision and I really like the way these look installed.
