My home is a Victorian from the 1880s. I needed to replace an internal door knob set. Modern sets don?t work in these vintage doors, so I was very glad to find this one. Installation was a breeze - less than 10 minutes (and I?m not handy). The knob looks and works great, although I?ll have to refinish the door next spring because the replacement plate is a different size and shape than what was there before. Always something to do in these older homes! Would DEFINITELY recommend- and I?m planning on buying more to update the hardware on some other doors.
Until one actually sees the luster of the gilded mercury and the sparkling light of the aquamarine and white Swarovski crystals, it is hard to tell just how incredibly beautiful this hardware really is. This is the most gorgeous product I have ever since in the cabinetry category. I will definitely order more in the future!
