they look just how the knobs in the 30s and 40s looked at our grandparents homes!!! so many people have commented on them. they install quickly. only complaint is they are a little bit ergonomically uncomfortable. you can't wrap your hand all the way around them like you would a modern traditional knob because of the low profile design. but the look is greater than the inconvenience. well worth it.
